Pada Volvo FMX yang beredar di Indonesia, sebagian menggunakan Automated mechanical gearbox ATO2612F atau juga dikenal dengan I-Shift Transmission.

Gearbox (I-Shift) generations E and F
Gearbox memiliki susunan tiga gear utama, split gear (high - low) dan range gear (high - low) yang terintegrasi. Split dan range gear ter-synchronized secara mekanis sedangkan gear utama ter-synchronized secara electronic dengan menggunakan engine brake dan countershaft brake untuk mengatur kecepatan putaran input shaft. Berikut ini adalah component yang berbeda dengan gearbox generasi E:
